Hiding Preps this Holiday Season
 

Okay so who did a little hiding of the preps for when the families came over,,, cause we are so weird that we would keep (hoard) so much food, water, etc.

Mine are always fairly out of sight anyway.....except for the panty cabinet units in the kitchen....but unless I open them to get something, they are not very conspicuous. Out of sight, but not far away.

They saw the surplus ... everyone got a laugh.

We live in different worlds ... mine's a few years from now.

Funny thing tho, my retired relatives still need their day jobs to keep consuming at the rate they normally do. You should see some of the crap that fills their entire basement/garage ... unbelievable. They're trading their retirement years for a truckload of crap.

They shop, therefore they are.

My preps are always out of sight. I'm of the "trust no one" mentality. Interestingly, though, many of my family and extended family members are of a like-mind, though I'm probably the most prepared of them. My sister is of a similar mind, as are her in-laws and the husband of my other sister. My husband's brother is survivalist-minded, and I was shocked a few months ago to discover that my mother-in-law preps. (My husband's family all live out of state, so I've never really known them well.)
